For a new series of installation art pieces, I worked with SUMO Restaurants once again to create a stunning collection of ambient animations. This is an over-arching theme for multiple animation concepts which will be displayed at their new branches.
The "Reflection" concept highlights introspection. I took the idea of looking in the mirror and being reflected into the different dimensions and contrasting versions of ourselves. Self-awareness is such a complicated thing and thought about the multiplicity of oneself as well as fragments of the love&hate relationship we have with our minds and bodies and how our personalities are also shaped by the people we keep around.

While developing the styleframes and animations, I got a lot of inspiration from shows like Inception, as well as the recent multiverse inspired movies like, Everything Everywhere All At Once ( which is a phenomenal movie!! ), and Dr. Strange.
I made a lot of experimenting with light vfx, 3D camera, expressive character silhouettes and color for this animation. I also enjoyed exploring more ways of adding depth and interest into my works and I'm really ecstatic with what I accomplished with this project.
