This animation project consist of 3x15s and a 1x30s Ad spots for Hulu. Each 15 second spot features a world different from the others. The tag line "Take the Leap" features the stag leaping from the wine bottle label to explore the world but always finds its way home at the end. In the 30s spot, all the worlds are combined side by side with one another as the stag leaps through all of them and return home to the bottle's label.

30s Final Animation
Faux Paper Cut-out Style
While the two other world illustrations were made by different artists provided by the agency, my team made this specific key visual illustration. The landscape layout elements features fauna and flora that are endemic to Napa Valley, California. It emulates a faux paper cut-out style with subtle splashes of colors in contrast with the white that gives a simplistic and elegant look. The layout starts with day-time animals and colors on the right and then progress slowly to an evening setting as we move to the left.
The images below features the breakdown of the initial layout sketch. It consists of three 16:9 scenes that could stand alone on its own with deliberate consideration of foreground, middle ground, and background elements.
